Success Stories
We’ve engaged in other research. Hear some voices from the frontlines of our ‘Making Phaneroo Manifest‘ investigation.
"The Report on Phaneroo confronted and dismantled many of the prosperity and hyper-grace claims I had long accepted and believed. The report’s findings forced me to re-examine my theological assumptions and drove me back to Scripture to seek God’s truth firsthand rather than relying on secondhand interpretations. "
"The Report offers great insight into the Phaneroo movement highlighting its dangerous and unbiblical teachings. I highly recommend it."
Africa Statement on the Prosperity Gospel and Word of Faith Theology
African Christian leaders released the “Africa Statement on the Prosperity Gospel and Word of Faith Theology” (ASPG) in 2025, affirming God’s goodness while rejecting the prosperity gospel’s core tenets, stating that health and wealth aren’t guaranteed blessings for faith, that the cross secures forgiveness, not material wealth, and that faith isn’t a commodity to manipulate for riches, emphasizing instead that true purpose is glorifying God, not material gain.
